
Public Statement of ABHE Accreditation Evaluation Team Visit
Carver Baptist Bible College, Institute & Theological Seminary located in Kansas City, MO will be hosting a comprehensive accreditation visit by a team of evaluators from the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) (September 12-14th) to determine its compliance with the standards for accreditation. During the visit, representatives of the ABHE team will entertain comments from the public. Any members of the public interested in making a presentation regarding the Institution to the team should contact the Institution at the following telephone number (816-333-1577 Ext. 7110) or email address (admin@carverbiblecollegekc.org). The Meeting for Public Comments is scheduled for Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Carver. Persons wishing to submit third party comments related to the institution may send them through the electronic form at https://abhe.formstack.com/forms/3rd_party_comment, or email coa@abhe.org, or mail ABHE Commission on Accreditation, 5850 T.G. Lee Blvd., Suite 130, Orlando, FL 32822. Persons interested in reviewing the standards for accreditation will find them on the ABHE website at abhe.org. They appear under Accreditation/Accreditation Documents/COA Manual. The institution is subject to the Institutional Accreditation Standards.

Accreditation Status
Carver Baptist Bible College, Institute and Theological Seminary holds candidate status with the Association for Biblical Higher Education Commission on Accreditation. ABHE is a national accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Candidate status is a pre-accreditation status granted to those institutions that meet the ABHE Conditions of Eligibility and that possess such qualities as may provide a basis for achieving accreditation status within five years.

Carver was officially granted Candidate Status by the Association of Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) as of February 2020. We hope to gain full accreditation by February 2024.
